    Hi, 

    I'm just purchase a MD8214, it's my first scanner , I bought it second hand, When I try to activate , the website send me a notice. is already registered I contact the seller and ask him , if it's possible that he can delete it from his account, but I  dont know if this is the right procedure. Can you help me please.

     I don't think it can be registered to another owner after the update period is expired because I believe the process will involve reset of device and losing all the software and setting everything back up as if it were a new device and then having to re download all the software again.

     Yes, I can understand that, but I'm now the owner and I'm ready to pay for upgrade to newest version.

    Call Autel support in your region for direction before you do any reset to the scanner.

      Yes, that's the right procedure. The seller should delete it from his account.  MD802 is a hand-held tool and therefore have free lifetime updates.
